Feedback stirred up by his humourous lifeskills book made Terry aware of aware of frustration in many people wanting to influence, mentor, lead, sell or just give advice. They had the answers; why wouldn’t other people just take their advice? After a year of travel, research and writing, Terry presents the reasons and how to amplify your influence.

“The best corporate entertainment I’ve ever been to” – Professor Alan Stenger, Penn State University
"Terry is an engaging presenter and works well in small or large group situations. In my case we were wanting to use a comedy ‘bent’ to not only better engage with our customers, but also find innovative ways to consider issues, find solutions and of course ‘connect’ people. Terry did a brilliant job for us in this capacity and is highly recommended." – Jason Roberts, Marketing Manager, Zeacom
"Terry presented imperative information for business leaders on how to influence the people around them in a very humorous manner. He highlighted the importance of how your influence as a leader is measured more on how your teams act while you are absent as opposed to how they act while you are there. 83% of attendees (senior finance managers) rated Terry as excellent." – Megan Alexander, General Manager, Robert Half International
“Terry’s session as Keynote Speaker finished our conference on the ‘high’ that we were looking for. His very humorous session gave us skills to apply not only in our businesses but also in our personal lives.” - Brian Berry, Rothbury Financial Services

'2 Dangerous Things A Year'

Between our ‘Comfort Zone’ and our ‘Discomfort Zone’ is our ‘Getting Our Act Together Zone.’ What prevents us and our people from taking and making that step? Leadership trainer, comedian and author Terry Williams entertains and engages as he provides simple yet powerful ideas for us to use to take chances and make chances and how we can lead others into doing the same.

How often do people pass up skydiving, quitting the day job to start their own dream business or going on a blind date? Those are big dangerous things. But even more often people pass up little dangers based on the same fears about risk, change and uncertainty. What is the cost to the economy, to people’s lives? People in a rut need to break free. But how?

Terry entertainingly explores little dangers and how we can remove barriers, develop confidence and prevent self sabotage. A commitment to himself in 2001 to do 2 dangerous things a year has led to happiness and success. 2010’s little danger is performing guitar in public. It could be part of this presentation…

It’s motivational speaking. It’s leadership training. It’s life skills. It’s comedy. It’s not yet a musical.
